My favorite part about teaching is watching my students leave class with a beautiful finished product! Everyone's belts turned out amazing, and I loved the awesome buckles that were brought in last night!

Hi Friends! I'm teaching at the Art Students' League of Denver, and I have two upcoming leatherworking classes that I'd love for you to attend! My classes are on Thursday nights from 6-9pm. My sold-out belt-making workshop last night was a big hit!

By the end of the course, you'll walk away with a fully finished leather journal cover, customized with your own tooling design. https://asld.org/class-details/making-a-leather-journal-cover
Leather Luggage Tag: (January 8 & 15) Two-part workshop, you’ll create a beautiful, handcrafted leather luggage tag while learning the foundational skills of leatherworking. Registration opens November 4th.

Hand sewing hardware on to the new duffel. I'm humming and hawing about a lot of details on this prototype. Should I add interfacing to the lining. How should I stiffen the bottom? What should I use for piping the welts. I'll take any advice!

I LOVE watching bags being made. But it always leads to more questions. I wonder what type of glue they use. Can I buy those handle forms? Oh so much to learn!
