As an organization, our purpose is to build a just society by developing tenacious learners, compassionate leaders and ethically driven critical thinkers.

The Chess board represents our lives. The chess pieces are us. Each piece may represent a skill, ability, or talent we have. The way we move them will lead us to success or failure. 🛡️ PROTECT THE HOUSE
A Better Man Protects What God Entrusted to Him.

In today’s world, danger doesn’t always look dangerous.
Fentanyl is being disguised in pills, vapes, and other substances—
and one mistake can be fatal.

As men, fathers, mentors, and leaders,
our assignment is not just to provide—
it’s to protect.

This week in Better Man, we’re having a real conversation about how to guard our children, guide our families, and lead our homes with wisdom and vigilance.

Strong men don’t ignore danger.
Better men prepare for it.

Thank you DisruptHR Denver for selecting Make A Chess Move as your nonprofit partner.

And special gratitude to Samierah O’Bryant-Yabar, SHRM-CP for nominating MACM.

Because when we teach youth to think differently,
they begin to move differently.

And when they move differently…

they change the game.

🔥 Better Man Session – Part 2 🔥

This Tuesday at 7:00 AM MST we continue our lesson:
“Forgive, But First Rebuke”
📖 Luke 17:3–4 (KJV)

Last week we learned: rebuke must come before forgiveness. This week, we’re digging into how forgiveness works after repentance, and why Jesus commands us to forgive—even if it’s seven times in one day.

Tuesday @ 7:00 AM MST

This week’s lesson: “Forgive, But First Rebuke”
📖 Luke 17:3–4 (KJV)

Jesus teaches us that forgiveness is powerful—but it doesn’t come first. Rebuke must come before forgiveness. Rebuke brings truth, accountability, and repentance. Forgiveness then brings healing and restoration.
