💼Future CEO alert! Walking through the doors of a new school can feel daunting, but Amaris used that fresh setting to push herself further out of her comfort zone. By diving headfirst into accounting and marketing classes, she completely unlocked her personality at Denver Center for 21st Century Learning High School - DC-21 and discovered a passion for entrepreneurship.⭐️ With multiple college credits already to her name and a professional internship under her belt, she is stepping into the business world with serious momentum. We are so proud of the determination you’ve shown, Amaris! CONGRATS!🎉

🤝Equity means teaching students to honor and celebrate the diverse world around them. Join us in cheering on our third-grade team as the final LOD award winners of the school year for creating an unforgettable, real-world lesson in global citizenship!🌍 Congrats to Melissa Capozza, Nora Colter, Racha Kobitary and Holcomb Mosley.

"Swigert was humbled to host our third Official Naturalization Ceremony for 18 new citizens from 10 different countries on Jan. 23. It is a culminating experience for our third graders as they finish their unit on immigration—understanding different reasons individuals and families immigrate to different countries—both historically and in the present day. The Honorable Judge Olympia Fay, past Swigert parent, presided over the ceremony along with a representative from the Denver field office. As a capstone event for our third-grade students, they brought in the flags representing the different countries, spoke during the ceremony, and sang "I am on my way to the Freedom Land." Congratulations to the new citizens and their families!"

🇺🇸 While our schools are closed for Memorial Day, we take today to pause and honor the fallen heroes who gave everything to preserve our students' freedom to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.✨ We are forever grateful for their ultimate sacrifice, and their courage will never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

We wish our entire district a reflective and peaceful holiday.🕊️

⏰Graduating early is no small feat! This week we're shining light on graduating junior Jesus and his incredible determination. Moving here from Guerrero, Mexico, he’s mastered a new language, excelled on the soccer field, and is already prepping to launch his own barbering business. His journey at Summit at Castro highlights the amazing things that happen when a student’s drive is matched by a caring school community. Keep crushing it, Jesus! ⚽️
