We just got our lady bugs and caterpillars in the mail and set up in our science center! Just in time for our spring animals week!
The kids are all super exited to watch them grown and help care for them these next couple months!
Next week we talk about the garden so we will be starting ours by planting fruit and vegetable seeds on Monday!

Our Dr. Seuss spirit weeks were as wacky as a Wocket in a Pocket!!

Day three of Community Workers Week was in full swing with a visit from the Denver Fire Department-Engine 26! Thank you for showing the children all of your safety equipment, teaching them about safety and allowing them to explore the fire truck! 🔥🚒
We appreciate all the hardwork you all do to keep the community safe!

Day 2 of Community Workers Week:

Denver Police Department stopped by and taught the students about their job, showed us their safety equipment and taught the students how to be safe.

We enjoyed our visit from Denver Waste Management today! They taught us about recycling, keeping the world clean and which trucks we may see as they work. Thank you WM for the visit!!

To end our Zoo theme we had a delicious giraffe themed snack! The children were so focused decorating their cookies and adding their giraffe spots. 🦒🦁🐘🦘

Our Summer Challenge has been going great!! Chase the Caterpillar has grown so much! We have three more weeks to reach the bottom leaf!! 🐛📚

This week is all about the zoo. The students had fun learning new fun facts about giraffes and making giraffe spots as part of our science experiment!🦒

Fun facts:
*Each giraffe has its own unique spot pattern, just like each human has its own unique fingerprints.
*Giraffes only sleep for two hours a day, and usually for less than five minutes at a time!
*Giraffes can be 18 feet tall and weigh up to 3900 pounds!
