They’re predicting up to 9 inches of snow for tomorrow.

As a rule at the school, when more than 6 inches are expected, we switch classes to Zoom to keep everyone safe.

After months of full classes and students asking for more schedules, we are opening a new location.

What is the true purpose of language acquisition?

In our conversation, we explore a challenge many educators see every day—students can complete activities, conjugate verbs, and stay engaged… yet still struggle to actually communicate.

My perspective has evolved to something much simpler:

The goal is conversation.

Not as a final stage, but as the foundation of the learning process.

When students are consistently engaged in meaningful exchanges—asking, answering, and negotiating meaning—we start to see real progress in both confidence and retention.
