We recently hosted an event with University of Denver Chancellor Emerita Dr. Rebecca Chopp and Alzheimer's Association's Director of Community Engagement Ralph Patrick on "Living with Joy" After Alzheimer's Diagnosis. The talk was an open conversation about Alzheimer's diagnosis, memory screenings, and "Learning to Live Courageously with Dementia."
We commend Dr. Chopp for speaking with unflinching courage about her diagnosis, activism, and lifestyle changes. She is currently writing a book about her experience, as she realized that there are only 3 books written by people with Alzheimer's.
