It's (Earned Income Tax Credit) Awareness Day. In observance of this day, we urge you to see if you can qualify for this tax break which would mean more money back in your pocket.
4 out of 5 taxpayers eligible for EITC receive the credit - which means 1 in 5 (aka millions of people) are missing out and not taking advantage of the cash back they've earned. Take today to check if you qualify for the credit in the link below!

"We must use time creatively - and forever realize that time is always hope to do great things"
The words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. remind us to 'use time creatively' and recognize its potential for great things. His vision of economic empowerment as a cornerstone of racial equality resonates deeply today. At FHI, we see time as one of, if not the most, valuable asset in your life. By using time thoughtfully and in conjunction with the available resources and assets, you can reduce your stress and begin to build your financial stability. Time, as Dr. King said, is the very thing that gives us all hope to change our reality and start to thrive.
🚨PSA!🚨 Today is the last day to enroll in new healthcare, including the federal health insurance marketplace! Healthcare is a privelege and a tangible asset for many people but some or most of your clients may experience healthcare as a large part of their financial stress. For information on how to apply and enroll for health insurance, check out the link below. If you're a human services professional looking for ways to be better equipped to help your clients, go to our website for information on our proprietary Frameworks in Financial Health Program.

FHI is providing a customized subscription focused on the needs of Bayaud's housing program for Denver residents with I/DD through a series of in-person presentations on how they can be better trained to talk about financial health with their clients.

Book Recommendation Alert!
We've got a perfect stocking stuffer for kids this holiday season! A Chair for My Mother by Vera B. Williams is a beautifully written and illustrated story that shows a loving family recovering from a burned down house through the efforts of their family and community. It's never too early to teach financial health to children, and this is the perfect book for that.
