September is Attendance Awareness Month, and the same message is being heard from districts across the country: chronic absenteeism is a symptom, not the root cause.

Our team helps education vendors respond to that engagement crisis with data and insight—so you can find the right districts, understand their challenges, and bring solutions that make learning feel relevant, not just compliant. Explore how we’re thinking about relevance and engagement here: https://agile-ed.com/resources/the-engagement-crisis-isnt-about-attendance-its-about-relevance/

What makes a sales pitch stand out to a superintendent?

An EdWeek Market Brief Staff Writer spent an hour following Superintendent Aaron Fleming on the ISTELive exhibit floor to see which vendor tactics caught his attention and which ones didn't.

Find out what vendors did right—and wrong. Find the 10-minute read here:

Every back-to-school season, our team fields the same question from clients: which districts are actually moving right now?

Agile's education market insights accelerate that answer by bringing enrollment shifts, funding changes, and buying signals into a cohesive picture, rather than piecing them together across a dozen tabs.

The result: faster, clearer conversations with districts, and less guesswork about where to focus first.

More activity does not mean more revenue in education sales.

We see it constantly: reps working stale contacts and low-fit accounts while high-fit, high-readiness districts sit untouched. Every hour spent on an account that will not convert is an hour not spent moving a real district toward a decision.

The fix is better segmentation, not more hustle: tier accounts by fit and readiness, and let reps say not now instead of dragging weak deals forward.

“We’ll just scrape our own contacts” sounds great—especially in education, where a lot of data is public. But DIY and AI‑only scraping quietly fails on three fronts: reliability/accuracy, cost over time, and scalability/governance. Outdated inboxes, ambiguous titles, and compliance risk show up precisely when your growth goals get more ambitious.

Human-verified education data simply is a more stable foundation for GTM, RevOps, and AI projects. School district cybersecurity is now a shared responsibility across the education technology ecosystem. The guide spells out how solution providers can help: embed FERPA/COPPA‑compliant security by design, provide secure infrastructure and integrations, support incident response planning, deliver training and awareness resources, and enable stronger third‑party risk management. It also explains why evolving AI threats and data governance expectations should shape how you build and describe your products.

Take a few minutes to read the guide and compare it against your current security and messaging practices:

June 20, 2026 Blog Post Test score release is one of the most reliable—and overlooked—procurement signals in K–12. Public results drop every year, yet many vendors still treat them as background noise instead of a built‑in trigger for targeted outreach.

Treat score release as a trigger, not just a headline 🔔 Every year, states release test scores. The vendors who treat that as a trigger—not just news—have an edge.

Every spring, states administer assessments and spend months validating results before publishing district and school scores—usually in late summer and early fall. When those numbers hit, conversations inside districts shift quickly from abstract improvement plans to very real questions about where scores dropped and what has to change before the next accountability cycle.

Under ESSA and state systems, low or stagnant scores can lead to formal improvement status and requirements to adopt evidence‑based interventions. That makes the score‑release window one of the clearest calendar‑based procurement triggers in K–12.

In this blog, walk through how to build a score‑release calendar, track accountability lists, and align account research and outreach, so you’re in the conversation when districts are actively rethinking supports.
