Building spaces where neurodivergent teens and their families feel like the main characters, not the afterthought.

As a neurodivergent mom of neurodivergent teens, I spent years feeling like we were the side quest in every system we touched. Now I’m obsessed with building rooms, programs, and communities where our kids and their caregivers are the story, not the footnote, through LEGO-based STEAM and play programs.

As a recovering burnout queen, I haven’t been manifesting with grace or ease at all. I’ve been grinding, hustling, and overriding my nervous system in the name of making it happen. That’s exactly how I burn out/crash out. Today this card is an invitation to let ease be a strategy, not a reward I earn after I’ve exhausted myself. How are you manifesting ease and grace?

Caregiver burnout is real. Something I’m aligning to this week so I don’t disappear into everyone else’s needs is stepping outside, even for ten minutes, to remember I exist beyond the to‑do list. Three deep breaths and a little sky creates a ritual that centers me. I hope you find what helps you align back to yourself.

Through every transition of my life, moving my body has helped keep me sane. After three years in survival mode, I’m grateful for this purple‑lit basement and my Peloton, helping me dance my way back into alignment. I hope you find your own rituals that help you feel more like you, too.

Thank you for checking in and reaching out, I genuinely appreciate it. Life has been Life-ing and burn-out is real! I have been utilizing every tool in my mental health toolbox to include stillness.

I am currently exploring the hypothesis that my struggles with mental health and SI (unalive ideation) no matter how successful I am are related to hustle and grind culture. The impossible and toxic standards of coupling/parenthood/caregiving; perfectionism and any other ideals and systems that cause mental health trauma.

For the next 28 days, I will be sharing a photo that is inspired by my tools I have acquired. If it feels good to you I encourage you to share a photo from your toolbox.

🥗Today I enjoyed visiting my favorite tree, making a meal and eating veggies from my backyard farm and CSA (community supported agriculture) share.

Out here finding my light after several months of navigating depression and anxiety❤️‍🩹. If you feel like your dropping all the balls. Put some down. If you start to feel like the world is better without. Pour into yourself. I am course correcting and aligning to what makes me thrive. I’m still figuring it out. We don’t always have to have the answers. Stay hydrated and kind to yourselves. Be well Dear Hearts 😌🫶🏾✨

🥰 Today I stopped doom scrolling and took my crew to one of our happy places Denver Botanic Gardens York to smell flowers and eat french fries.

❤️‍🩹 Sometimes you drop the ball on the important things. Say you’re sorry and try better. Do what really really matters.

🦋 Rebirth…

😵‍💫 I’ve been overwhelmed by the long list of recent tragedies. In addition to navigating grief, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts inspite of all the sucess I have personally and professionally. Followed by with the intense shame of seeming ungrateful for what I have, because of my feelings.

🙌🏾 The last couple of years have been a lesson in forgiving myself, releasing ideas, belief systems and behaviors that no longer serve me.

⭐️ I encourage us all to figure out what actions we are going to implement, so we are the change we want to see in the world.

🕊 I release the idea that I am broken, instead I embrace that fact that I am seeking a peace that surpasses all understanding.
