Students can’t learn on an empty stomach.
🍎Research shows that universal school meal programs like Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All improve test scores, focus, attendance, and even long-term academic success.
By supporting Propositions LL & MM, Colorado can continue investing in healthy school mealsevidence-based programs that help every child thrive — in the classroom and beyond.

Here in Colorado, we are continuing to fight for licensing qualified nutrition professionals providing medical nutrition therapy (MNT), the nutrition care service used to treat and manage diseases and medical conditions. Colorado is one of only 4 states that do not license these professionals.

There are many benefits to licensing: improves public safety; opportunities to address access to care issues for Health First Colorado members; provides legal support for hospitals to allow dietitians to be utilized to their full professional capabilities; and facilitates opportunities for practice across state borders.

If you are in Colorado, you can use the link to tell Governor Polis how important it is that he sign this bill. Thanks! https://www.votervoice.net/EATRIGHT/1/Campaigns/125658/Respond
