The arts matter. So does your vote. 🎶🗳️

From local school boards to state leadership, the people we elect help shape arts education and Colorado's cultural landscape. CMEA isn't telling you who to vote for, only that your voice matters. Research the candidates and make a plan to vote.

📅 Register or update your registration online, by mail, or at the DMV by Monday, October 26.
🗳️ Return your ballot by mail (we recommend mailing it by October 26) or at a drop box. Ballots must be RECEIVED by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Postmarks don't count.
✅ Missed the deadline? You can still register and vote in person at a Voter Service and Polling Center in your county through Election Day.

Check your registration and find drop boxes at GoVoteColorado.gov.

Every year, arts programs face funding decisions that shape what students get to experience in the classroom. This year, you can help make sure the full picture gets seen.

The Arts Education Alliance and the NAMM SupportMusic Coalition just launched the Arts Education Funding Survey for the 2025-26 school year. K-12 arts educators and administrators are invited to share what they know about how federal, state, and local funding supported dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts programs this year.

Your responses help advocates:

Identify where funding exists
Pinpoint where gaps remain
Show how budget changes and advocacy efforts are affecting programs and students nationwide
