It’s called the “Spark Method”, and you use it to create a ton of basic ideas in a short period of time.

Focusing on core elements only - drums, synths, vocals, bass.

Create a catchy hook, motif, or melody with just these layers. The most memorable stuff to fans.

Then, from this collection of ideas, you only finish those that have the most potential.

This will maximize the quantity and quality of music you’re finishing, and make finishing music so much easier as a result.
