🎨 Exciting News, Fairview Families! 🔬

New Science & Art after-school clubs are coming to Fairview this November and December!
✨ Ready, STEM, Go! (Science Club)
When: Wednesdays, 3:25 – 4:25 PM (11/4 - 12/16)
What: Hands-on science, cool experiments, and educational toys to bring home after every class!
Skip Date: 11/25

🎨 Legends & Lore (Art Club)
When: Thursdays, 3:25 – 4:25 PM (11/5 - 12/17)
What: Painting, sculpting, and designing mythical creatures using Crayola supplies!
Skip Date: 11/26

📌 Important Details:
Grades: Open to K–5 students! (Stay tuned—we are actively working on bringing a middle school club option in the spring semester!)
Cost: 100% FREE for Fairview families, generously funded by the Westminster Public Schools Gifted Services department!
Cap: Spots are strictly capped at 20 students per club, so space is limited!

A new school year brings a fresh start, but today we’re celebrating how far our students have already come!

The latest state scores are out, and the results show major progress across Westminster Public Schools. From daily growth in the classroom to preparing our graduates for college, trades, and careers, our schools are moving in the right direction.

Fairview 5th graders are building momentum in literacy! Spring CMAS results show 5th-grade ELA growth jumped 7.5 percentile points.

ICYMI: The WPS Board of Education passed a new cell phone policy that aims to help students stay more focused during the day, reduce distractions, and improve both academic performance and student mental health outcomes. So far, we’ve seen a positive reaction from parents and staff alike, and we’re feeling hopeful about the results we’ll see next year.
