The Mile High team wrapped up a Successful START professional development week with a fun-filled “Team Building Extravaganza” at Central Park. It’s been a great week filled with in-person and virtual training and many opportunities for refreshing current knowledge and learning new strategies to support our children and families. We’re excited to welcome everyone to the 2024-2025 school year!
Our preschoolers at The Tamara M. Sparks Early Learning Center have been testing their gross motor skills on our fantastic playground. They love to make obstacle courses and test their speed and balance!
With three boys and two girls—ranging in age from three to 18—Chante Daily currently has her two youngest as students at Lowry. She calls her busy brood a Head Start family. “Even I’m a Head Start student, going back 35 years at Boulder Day Nursery.” She adds, “I’m very pleased my kids are coming through an excelled version of the program I experienced. It is so beneficial for them.”

Our team at the Tamara M. Sparks Early Learning Center at Mile High United Way hosted an open house for preschoolers. Our teachers created a mini "day in the life of preschool" with story time, snack time, and a planned activity. It was a fun day for all!
