It’s been a fascinating 15 months of pouring my life experiences, my love of writing and storytelling and yes, the gift of learning the enneagram into creating this debut novel.
A quick intro… “ Jillian Banks has built her life on being the one who always finds the silver lining – the happy one, the easy one, the one who keeps things moving forward. But when her relationship quietly unravel, she finds herself facing a question, she spent years avoiding: what do I actually want?
Pretty easy to guess her type but I would love for someone who loves southern fiction in a story told through sharp, heartfelt, and often hilarious conversations AND who knows the enneagram to be a Beta Reader. I would love your observations on the Enneagram types of the other characters. I am especially interested in connecting with someone who does not know me personally and who would be willing to give me honest feedback. Do you ever think... “I know they had a rough day. I should call them,” but then, you don’t? Or... “I wonder how my old friend is doing? I should call her,” but then, you don’t? But sometimes you’re the one who gets the call (or a text message) because the person who called or texted doesn’t just think about you. They use that little device we still call a phone to do more than complain or scroll funny videos. She was busy too, but you were on her heart, and she made time for you. I know someone like this—a few, actually —(spoiler: it’s not me, but I want to be). She’s truly sunshine on a phone line. 🔆

Yes, I still have so much to learn about moving into the second half of life and there are so many amazing humans who have walked the walk who are sharing their real stories. This is FREE to attend (online) Oct. 21-24! Even if you can’t listen to every session, check out the lineup and find the time that works for you. I mean... how many times do you need to re-watch “Everybody Loves Raymond”? HA!
