No doubt we were the class of the meet. Girls three-peat as Metro League Champs. Boys earned the championship but a controversial DQ in the 4x800 handed the title over to Prospect Ridge. Incredible effort by everyone on the squad.

Girls 4x800 got the Lady Jag T&F squad started right. Girls squad would go on to win the Denver North Viking Invitational behind big wins from Lydia Thurston in shot and Sierra Haberman and Hallie Williams in High Jump.

Picture day for Jag T&F. Sure it’s an hour we’ll never get back but it’s tough to put a price on chemistry and kids that have fun with each other. Among the groups here: jumpers, girls sprints, boys sprints, soccer girls, throwers, and hurdles.

This years’ team is kind of cool because of kids like Laila. This jump propelled her into the finals of long jump at the Horizon Hawk Invitational. But while she was jumping she was supposed to be in the finals of shot put. This type of crossover just doesn’t happen in track and field.

Spring break triple jump training. Gotta love CO in March. Or not.

Jags debut a new look. Since 2012 our girls have worn gold and boys black. For the first time, both boys and girls squads wore the same colors. 🔥🔥
Nicole, Tatum, Hallie and Sophie were kind enough to model them before their race. Any thoughts from alumni track athletes?
