The Center for a Regenerative Future (formerly the Center for Sustainability) is hosting our first ever Green Gala on May 23rd from 6:30-8:30 in Craig Hall. The Green Gala is a special evening meant to strengthen and connect regenerative and sustainability-oriented students, researchers, activists, educators, citizens, and community builders. The evening will generate intergenerational, interdisciplinary conversations, connections to ecological justice opportunities, and great food. Join us along with the Sustainability Council for a week long series of events. There will be volunteering opportunities and activities for Earth Week of DU-ing starting tomorrow Sunday April 21st- Friday April 26th!

This Earth Week, help the DU Bridge Community Garden with garden tasks such as transferring compostable plant materials to a compost dumpster, spreading leaf mulch, digging out and fixing garden beds, weeding, organizing the tool shed, and more! The Center’s bike shop Crimson Crank will be selling hot chocolate for $1 this Wednesday 3/6 from 9-12! Come say hi and grab a tasty drink!

The money raised from this event will support the bike shop in properly recycling old bike tires and tubes🚲🛞♻️

Talking about fossil fuels can be tricky, especially when people have already made up their minds. Here are some tips that may help make connections and change instead of reinforcing division!

The Food Pantry is for all! While the store front is not open at its full capacity, The Food Pantry will be open to distribute pre-packaged bags starting Thursday, 02/29. Patrons are invited to pick up 1 bag per week and bags can be picked up Thursdays between 2-6 pm. Pre-registration is not required and bags are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
