Rose Connections offers heart-centered leadership programming that focuses on leveraging lived experience into trauma informed social change. All programming focuses on three main areas of leadership:

: In order to envision ourselves as leaders we must first understand who we are, what makes us tick, what resources and knowledge we have, what patterns we face - see ourselves fr

om a new perspective

: By applying what we've learned about ourselves, we can reduce conflict by reframing how we approach our relationships with others including family, friends, professional collaborations, and intimate partners.

: Leaders of tomorrow will need to use their vulnerability as a strength to build community and organizational resilience. By employing empathetic action and bold vision, we can co-create a more sustainable, just, and loving world. Rose Connections offers inclusive and affirming webinars, training, individual/group leadership coaching, and trauma-informed consulting services. Additional services such as support for grant writing, program design/implementation, and legislative advocacy are also available.

Nobody knows the mental gymnastics you had to do to get through a lonely, sometimes scary childhood.

The fantasies, the worlds and companions and stories you constructed in your head— the ones that saved you.

I'm glad they were there.

I'm glad you are here.

Whatever it is…let it go ❤️‍🩹

It’s preventing you from making room for the blessings already available in your everyday life.

Blessings are waiting for you to be open enough to receive.

Our social safety was already fragile and barely hanging on by a thread, but whole organizations are now missing, services are waitlisted and the need is growing. This isn’t just about one individual failure, this is about a systemic attack on our most vulnerable communities and the that serve them

Sound off in the comments - what are you seeing in your communities?

I kinda made my dreams come true in ways I never imagined were possible 😍✨💫

This is why I think is the way of the future. By leading with integrity we build stronger communities of trust that can help all of our collective dreams come true.

Tag your favorite leader - I don’t want the famous ones, I want the everyday people who lead with integrity & compassion. These are the people I want to know & follow 💖💫

This is why navigating document loss is not nearly as simple or easy as the Republicans & the SAVE Act want you to believe.

Back when I was doing disability law. This was something that we encountered all the time on my team, but it was when I had to navigate it for my own family that it became even more apparent how inaccessible it can be.

Comment below - what barriers have you encountered in replacing lost documents?

Lessons in that I follow -

The full quote from Eleanor Roosevelt’s book “Tomorrow is Now”:

Long ago, there was a noble word, “liberal,” which derives from the word “free.” Now a strange thing happened to that word. A man named Hi**er made it a term of abuse, a matter of suspicion, because those who were not with him were against him, and liberals had no use for Hi**er. And then another man named McCarthy cast the same opprobrium on the word. Indeed, there was a time — a short but dismaying time — when many Americans began to distrust the word which derived from “free.” One thing we must all do. We must cherish and honor the word “free” or it will cease to apply to us. And that would be an inconceivable situation. This I know. This I believe with all my heart. If we want a free and a peaceful world, if we want to make the deserts bloom and man grow to greater dignity as a human being — WE CAN DO IT!

If you work in human services be sure you are helping people safety plan around pets & vulnerable adults. People are being detained on their way to appointments, so at any given time a per, elder, neighbor etc could be at additional risk if that person doesn’t come home.

What other safety planning do you recommend?

(Been up a LONG time today trying to get client work done. Working while sitting on the edge of collapse is not the future I wanted for any of us)

Talking about why we need to care about this collective tower moment 🫨 personally AND collectively. Read more about the class on my pinned post to

How can we process our own awakenings/collapses while systems fall all around us?

In my upcoming class, I’ll offer a framework I’ve been following, reimagining structures where we all rise together. Even if it is a struggle to be there, I hope you’ll join me on Jan 24
