Christ The King Roman Catholic School (CK) provides a comprehensive Pre­school through 8th grade, faith-based academic program that is accredited by the North Central Association. The school, which began instruction on September 6, 1949, embodies the teachings of Jesus Christ and is committed to providing programs and services incorporating a strong emphasis on spirituality and high academic expectations. The Kindergarten through eighth grade academic program is one that provides a wide variety of activities designed to help children grow and develop the skills necessary for creative expression (computer science, fine art, music, and physical education offered weekly in grades K-8) critical thinking, language development including Spanish, mathematics, reading, and writing. Complementing the K-8 program is a Preschool that meets the developmental and academic needs of the youngest children through a balanced and nurturing curriculum. The program is designed to promote emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth, as well as prepare the students for an enriched and successful Kindergarten experience.
