"April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and our Archbishop of Denver, Samuel J Aquila, invites us to pray for all children, as well as other vulnerable people such as the elderly or disabled so that they are protected in their vulnerability and for the healing of those who have been mistreated. Let us also pray for parents, social workers, and all institutions dedicated to working in the care and education of children and the most vulnerable adults so that God may grant them the grace and virtue to care for each child with respect and dignity, being aware of the excellent care and responsibility they have before God and human authorities.

Now we begin our Lenten journey.
Today at Mass, Father encouraged students to not fight with their siblings for 40 days as an act of charity. He said this with a sweet chuckle! More importantly, Father encouraged students during this Lenten season to act upon alms giving (charity and love), fasting (giving up something), and prayer and penance.

A great weekend for CK! Congratulations to all of the teams that played this weekend. The games were fun and the competition fierce.
Our Widget girls, 5th grade girls, 6th grade girls and 6th grade boys brought home the trophy! Thank you coaches, players, families and fans for a fun season.

Dads and daughters rocked the house last night!

Penny Wars was a battle of the classes! Student Council was busy counting coins for hours! Thanks for emptying out the piggy banks.

We ended a great Catholic Schools Week with a Dress Like Your Teacher Day!

"I just went to Festival of Nations. It was so cool. Positivity and innocence abound at CK and I'm very grateful for it. The kids are bombarded with such awful stuff in society today. I feel like CK is their refuge.

Happy to have our halls and church filled with those who adore Our Lord!

Last night will go down as a core memory at CK! We celebrated our 8th grade boys and girls final home game with a lasagna dinner and a "Pack the House" event during the games. These kids have put their heats into playing basketball for CK and will certainly be missed on the court. Thanks to all who came out and supported our teams
