As Election Day draws closer, educators from across the state continue to canvass and talk to our fellow voters about voting YES for Prop NN.

Prop NN will increase funding for Colorado's public schools by 50% over the next 10 years without raising taxes. The additional funding will help increase educator pay, keep more educators in the profession, and reduce class sizes. Every student deserves access to a quality public education, and every educator deserves the resources and support they need to help students succeed.

We celebrate Indigenous students, educators, families, and communities and recognize the importance of teaching the full history of this land, uplifting Indigenous voices, and making sure every student sees themselves reflected in our public schools.

When kids have passionate, qualified teachers in the classroom, they achieve more. Right now, Colorado’s public schools are chronically underfunded by $4,600 per student annually. Colorado ranks 43rd in the country in school funding. This means overcrowded classrooms as passionate and qualified educators leave the profession. Many never become teachers in the first place. Ultimately, Colorado kids pay the price.

Proposition NN will give schools the resources they need to make sure Colorado students can succeed, putting billions of dollars into our public schools for better teacher pay, more one-on-one attention, and career training.
