The mission of The Logan School is to cultivate the curiosities of gifted students. The Logan School serves students in grades k-8 on a 13- acre campus.

Our mission is to cultivate the curiosities of gifted children and our approach is as unique and individual as the children who make up our community.

What a year.

From classroom discoveries to wide-open explorations, our students spent this year following curiosity wherever it led.

83 Environmental Education trips added up to 163 days of EE experiences, and 415 unit field trips took learning far beyond campus. In total, that’s countless days of learning in motion, asking questions, making connections, and seeing the world up close.

We send our Class of 2026 off with memories to last a lifetime and deep gratitude for the experiences shared together. We are already looking forward to welcoming Logan students back for 2026–27, ready for another year of wonder, growth, and adventure.

We were honored to welcome New York Times bestselling author Joanna Ho to Logan on Friday as her exclusive Denver stop during Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month.

As part of the Stories That Connect Us Series sponsored by and , Joanna shared her writing journey, cultural heritage, and the importance of representation in children’s literature. Students and families also learned about the growing scale of book bans across the country and explored ways we can thoughtfully resist by continuing to read widely, share stories, and amplify diverse voices.

The visit also included a special piece of history: a signed copy of Governor Polis’ official Colorado proclamation recognizing May as AANHPI Heritage Month, generously presented to Logan by Shannon Milliken, Founder of P.L.A.Y. Education.

A heartfelt thank you to Boulder Bookstore and P.L.A.Y. Education for making this experience even more meaningful by providing every Logan student with a copy of a Joanna Ho book!

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to celebrate storytelling, identity, and the power of books to connect us across cultures and experiences.

The student v. staff girls soccer game had record turnout with teachers and families joining the field. Despite the adults rushing the pitch for the last two minutes, students still won 4 to 1!

Thank you to everyone who came out Friday night to support this year's Auction! Masterpieces in Motion brought so much color, creativity, and energy to the room, and it was incredible to see our community show up in such a big way.

There’s still time to support this year’s Mission Moment, the Logan Bus Fund, and help us move students forward on every journey. Donate through the link in our bio.

This year’s Auction Mission Moment paddle raiser supports the Logan Bus Fund. On Friday, our community will come together to help bring a new bus to Logan. Until then, take a look behind the scenes as we search for the newest member of the fleet. Thank you to Logan AS students who helped with the creation of this video!

Our students experienced the visual language of dance with presenters from the Colorado Fine Arts Association. Through expressive facial gestures, intricate hand movements, and powerful body postures, dancers showed how movement can communicate emotion and ideas. Students were introduced to Odissi and Bharatanatyam, two forms of Indian classical dance known for their strength, grace, and striking poses. An inspiring reminder that storytelling can happen in many forms, and sometimes the most powerful messages are the ones we see. ✨

Spirit Week brought the energy. Students dressed like teachers, teachers dressed like students, matchy matchy outfits took over, and favorite characters showed up all week long. We closed things out Friday in a sea of blue EXPO T-shirts and growing excitement. EXPO is next Thursday and we are ready.

EXPO projects are still in motion. Testing, altering, adjusting, playing, refining, and tuning. At Logan, the process of learning matters as much as what’s shared at the end!
