🕯️ The Passion of St. John the Baptist

St. John the Baptist courageously spoke the truth even when doing so came at a great cost. His entire life pointed away from himself and toward Jesus, preparing others to encounter Christ. May our Saints in the Making have the courage to stand for what is right, remain faithful when it is difficult, and let their lives always point others toward Jesus.

Today, Jesus walked our halls. 💙💛

Through our Eucharistic Procession, we invited the Holy Spirit into every classroom, every lesson, and every heart—one lesson at a time, one child at a time, one moment of trust at a time.

At Assumption, God’s Word is not simply something we teach—it is the voice that echoes through our halls, reminding each of our students: you were made for greatness, you are called by name, and you belong to Him.

May Christ remain at the center of all we learn, all we teach, and all we become.

Come, Holy Spirit. Fill our school. Lead our students. Make us Saints in the Making. ✝️

It’s OK, Mom & Dad. 💙 They’re doing just fine.

They laughed, played, and maybe even missed you a little, too.

And most importantly, they are learning that wherever they go, God goes with them. ✝️

These first days can feel just as big for the parents as they do for our littlest Saints in the Making. So when you drop them off and watch those little backpacks walk through our doors, know they are surrounded by teachers who care for them, friends who are growing alongside them, and a school community praying for them every step of the way.

It’s OK, parents. They’re in good hands — and always in His. 💙💛

St. Monica teaches us to never give up on someone we love and never stop praying. For many years she prayed patiently for her son, Augustine, trusting that God was working even when she could not see it. May our Saints in the Making learn to pray faithfully for their families, friends, teachers, and anyone who needs God’s grace.

What I love about my position in the school office is getting to know and helping all the students and families. The Assumption community is genuinely unique and I feel so blessed to be a part of it. Everyone looks out for one another, which makes it feel like a big family bond.
My biggest hope for the coming school year is that with a few new changes that are coming, everything will run smoothly.
If I wasn’t at Assumption I would probably still be working in the corporate world and definitely not be as happy as I am now.
My favorite Saint is St. Therese of Lisieux and her quote “A word or a smile is often enough to put fresh life in a despondent soul”. She was also one of my mom’s favorite Saints.
