ASAA-NA is mourning the death of one of its jewels.
We honor the life of an extraordinary woman who dedicated her entire life to the pursuit of peace, justice,human rights and strong community. She was not only an advocate, but a moral compass—someone who stood firmly with the oppressed, spoke truth in difficult times, and believed deeply in the power of unity and collective responsibility.

Today, we are not mourning a loss; we are celebrating a life of purpose, courage, and impact. Her journey was one of service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to humanity.

Her dedication to building strong and just communities was steadfast. She understood that lasting change begins when people stand together, support one another, and nurture institutions that endure. As a devoted alumna and member , she strengthened bonds across generations, inspiring others to lead with integrity and serve with humility.

Through compassion and fearless advocacy, she transformed ideals into action. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the communities she strengthened, and the values she upheld. Though she is no longer physically with us, her vision for a just, peaceful, and united society continues to guide and inspire us.

May her soul Rest in Peace!
