Appearance is so much more than the clothes you wear— it's the way you carry yourself, your hygiene, and your facial expression. While we're all taught to not judge a book by its cover, the ability to make a good first impression is an asset in the workforce. Consider the dress code and the professional culture at your workplace and adapt your personal style to match the brand of your company.

Developing a culture of trust is fundamental to building a thriving workplace. The model of trust established by Reina and Reina (2015) determined that trust has three components:
1. Capability trust is trust in someone's understanding, ability, knowledge, and skills.
2. Character trust is the belief that others will fulfill their obligations.
3. Communication trust encompasses the open sharing of information, truthfulness, admission of errors, and confidentiality.
These types of trust resonate strongly with the work ethic skills of ambition, attendance, appreciation, and especially accountability. How can you cultivate these skills to build trust in your workplace?
