Spring is on it’s way… but Art In The Alley is still in a classroom!!!!!
The following are classes (for 5-13 year olds) scheduled for SPRING BREAK - the week of March 27th. Classes will be held at: The Teller Street Studio/Gallery - 303-424-9273

Monday March 27th 9:30 - 12:00 $25 plus $7 materials fee

PAINTED BIRD HOUSES… Students will use acrylic paints on pre-made wooden birdhouses. Glass beads and other ‘notions’ will be available for finishing touches! You’ll have the most popular bird house on the block! Have children come in painting clothes or bring a smock...

Monday March 27th 1:00 - 3:00 $25 plus $5 materials fee

EMBROIDERY GARDENS on BURLAP… Students will learn embroidery stitches and how to sew on buttons to create a beautiful garden scene on burlap. Boys love this as well!!! These will be keepsakes forever!

Touring & Sketching at the Denver Art Museum 9-3:00
Tuesday, March 28th - DAM Ages 5-13 $60 per day
and/or
Wednesday, March 29th - DAM Ages 5-13 $60 per day

This is a really wonderful experience to see the Denver Art Museum’s collection with a small group. Morning will be spent sketching and touring. Afternoons are a group decision on what DAM activities we attend.

CAMP 1: Monday – Thursday, 9am-3pm, June 5 -June 8d (NO FRIDAY OPTION)
CAMP 2: Monday – Thursday, 9am-3pm, June 12-16th (w/DAM Friday Option)
CAMP 3: Monday-Thursday, 9am-3pm, July 10-14h (NO FRIDAY OPTION)
CAMP 4: Monday- Thursday, 9am-3pm, July 17-21st (w/DAM Friday Option)
Ippy Farnam has taught visual art to all ages of students for over twenty years. Ippy will be running weeks separately this year for artists ages 5-13. Summer art camp involves drawing, painting and mixed media art. Artists will have 4 days a week for 6 hours a day creating 2 and 3 dimensional art work. We will begin our day practicing yoga based stretching and Sketchbook technique, break for lunch and end our day with an art project to take home!

This class will meet on site at the Denver Botanic Gardens Monday and Tuesday and the DENVER ART MUSEUM Wednesday and Thursday with a Friday option at the DAM. **Wednesday mornings we will visit the Clyfford Still Museum - next door to the DAM**

At 9am all artists will be picked up at the same location at 3PM. The cost is $60 a day and $220 for 4, 6 hour days; Friday Option is $55. Families who sign up more than one artist will get a 20% discount on the tuition of the second artist to attend the Time for Art Camp ($220 for the first artist, $176 for second artist.)
