MCA Denver Teens MCA Denver offers FREE programs for teens. Instagram: MCA Denver is proud to be the first museum in Denver to offer FREE admission to teens.

At MCA Denver teens are our primary youth audience because we believe that teens, like artists, are interested in challenging conventions and questioning the rules. We strive to be the premier cultural space for all teen audiences by providing teens a safe place to express themselves and connect with art. From our intensive internship program, Failure Lab, where a select group of high school-aged

teens risk failure while creatively planning programs and events, to our informal drop-in program led by professional artists, the museum offers a robust suite of programs for all teens.

✨ Join us for the opening of Entering Abstraction on July 30th from 5:30–7 PM ✨
This pop-up exhibition features works by Celeste Escobar-Lau, Joshua Lawton, and Jackson Robinson, created during their time as artists-in-residence at MCA Denver.

In Entering Abstraction, paintings and mixed-media artworks draw from abstraction, surrealism, and nostalgia to create otherworldly, dreamlike imagery that will draw you in. Come with an open mind and arrive ready to learn, experience, and discover something new.
