We are so proud that Professor and current undergraduate advisor Andrea Stanton, along with Associate Professor and MA advisor Christy Cobb and Associate Professor (and former undergraduate advisor) Ben Nourse, have been awarded a grant from the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning!

The grant focuses on emphasizing the career-readiness skills that our students develop in our BA and MA programs.

Congratulations to MA student Ayla Ozarslan, who has been awarded the 2026 Department of Religious Studies TAK Graduate Student Award.

This award, supported by Theta Alpha Kappa funding, supports graduate student research. This award supported Ayla's presentation at the March 2026 Regional Meeting of the Rocky Mountain Religion & Bible Society - the regional association of the American Academy of Religion.

We are proud to have had an active Theta Alpha Kappa chapter for nearly 15 years, and appreciate the opportunities that our chapter membership has provided to our students!
