In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, The Goddard School® is hosting a free Parenting with Goddard webinar on May 22 at 1 PM ET about what mental health means for families. Dr. Lauren Loquasto, chief academic officer at The Goddard School and Dr. Kyle Pruett, clinical professor of child psychology at Yale University, will guide you through gentle approaches to support your child's emotional growth and resilience as well as your own. They will share actionable insights on identifying early signs of mental health needs and implementing healthy coping mechanisms. ’Tis the season for baking cookies! Get baking with your little ones and try out one of these decorating tips for extra special treats.
🍪 Use marshmallows as icing — add a few mini marshmallows to your cookies and pop them into the oven just until the marshmallows melt.
🍪 Press pasta into your dough! Pull out the penne and press the end of it onto your cookies for a cool petal design. Or try bow ties for a fancy treat.
🍪 Take a whisk, dip it into food coloring (or powdered drink mixes) and then press the whisk into your dough for a colorful star design.
