Someone who refused to let fear make her small. And maybe that’s something I need to say not just to myself, but to all of us here.

So to the Class of 2026 : I hope you dream big, even when it feels out of reach.
To the Class of 2027: I hope you work hard, even when no one is watching.
To the Class of 2028: I hope you stay curious, even when you think you already know.
To the Class of 2029: I hope you laugh loudly during awkward silences and let yourself be seen.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. In his reflection, Dr. Davis invites our community to think deeply about the meaning of Memorial Day and the responsibility we share to honor those who came before us with gratitude, reflection, and remembrance.

Memorial Day 2026: Remembering Those Who Gave Everything This spring at CA, I feel like I've stepped into a time machine and returned to the late 1980s and '90s.

"Whatever has sparked this revival, what I see on our campus is students choosing to be outside, in the sun, laughing together—no screens required. That matters deeply. We know from research and experience that face-to-face interaction is essential to our mental health and well-being, and yet it's increasingly rare."

Upper School students Alix Koren and Alegria Monterosso presented their work at REDI Lab's Tri 3 Presentations. Through REDI Lab’s design thinking curriculum, students are encouraged to take initiative and lead self-directed projects rooted in their own passions.

Alix Koren: “Driven Women”–Raising awareness, promoting, and supporting women in motor sports. Not just drivers, but in all roles, all categories, and at all levels.

Alegria Monterosso: “Allies Ask”–Where can allies go to learn about and how to better support members of the LGBTQ+ community? Now there is a place thanks to Alegria.
