Learning came to life today as our Integrated Kindergarten students visited the Denver Museum of Nature & Science for a planetarium showing of Destination Solar System! 🌍🪐 Exploring our solar system in an immersive, larger-than-life setting is exactly the kind of experience that sparks curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

Lower and Upper Elementary students wrapped up the year with meaningful outdoor education trips to Cal-Wood and Taos. From exploring nature and learning beyond the classroom to spending nights away from home, these experiences build independence, confidence, connection, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

MAC’s 6th-grade capstone trip was filled with learning, growth, and moments of connection. From museums and monuments to art, architecture, government, science, and history, students experienced Washington, D.C. as their classroom.
They asked thoughtful questions, showed care and respect during difficult topics, supported one another along the way, and embraced each experience with curiosity and courage. We are so proud of how they represented MAC and of the memories they created together on this meaningful trip.

As students grow, so does the impact of a great teacher.

It’s in the conversations, the hard questions, the quiet pushes to go further and when the student realizes “I’ve learned what matters to me.” Because of a teacher, these moments deepen confidence, expand perspective, and shape a sense of purpose.

Little moments. Big impact.

To our Upper School teachers: thank you for challenging, guiding, and believing in our students as they grow into who they’re meant to be. Your impact lasts far beyond the classroom. 💛

Because of a teacher, ordinary days become extraordinary. It’s in the quiet encouragement. The steady presence. The moment a child realizes, “I can do this.”

Because of a teacher, these little moments build confidence, create belonging, and shape who a child believes they can become.

Little moments. Big impact.

To our Lower School teachers: thank you for showing up in these moments, every single day. This is where it all begins. 💛

Celebrating Our Teachers! 🎉

Thanks to your generosity at the 2025 Gala Paddle Raise, we sent 9 faculty and staff to The 30th International Montessori Congress in Mérida, Mexico. This year’s theme “Joyful Journey” brought together Montessori educators from around the world to shape the future of the philosophy we love.
Today marks the end of the conference as our teachers head back home, inspired and ready to bring their learning to life in the classroom. Thank you for making it possible!

On Earth Day, MAC Middle Schoolers and Lower Elementary students made their third and final visit to the Gilpin Community Garden before reopening it for the community after nearly 7 years of being inactive!

This week, MAC middle schoolers headed to Cleo Parker Robinson Dance (CPRD), a local dance company which has been presenting professional dance performances for the Denver community for 55 years. At their annual career day, our students had the opportunity to participate in Q&A sessions with CPRD staff and performers, and a dance workshop focusing on the steps of creating a choreographed routine. They also observed a group of dancers learning a new performance for an upcoming show. Several other Denver area schools also attended, and the students really enjoyed the experience and walked away inspired for the future.
