The warmer season really started to show its face on campus this weekend! Volunteers with the Denver Mayor and First Lady's Give5 Mile High volunteer initiative spent the morning sprucing up our outdoor space and transitioning the Baby Bucks basic needs store from winter to spring and summer. Huge thanks to all of the volunteers who showed up to support teen families, and a special thank you to the Colorado Young Leaders volunteers!

Last Thursday night we gathered in celebration and recognition of teen mothers and their children for Pathways to Empowerment: Empowering Me, Uplifting We, Building Brighter Futures Together. Together, we raised over $200,000 to support the vital program and services offered at FloCrit! Check out photos from the evening https://www.flickr.com/photos/parentpathways/albums/72177720333615270.

At this year's event, we had the honor of hearing from three teen moms, each at different stages in their journeys - FloCrit senior Brenda, FloCrit alumna Justina, and keynote speaker Jessica. Their stories are a reminder of the power of love, resilience, and determination that defines FloCrit and its mission.

The generosity of the FloCrit community continues to create lasting impact and reminds the teen families who we serve that hope, opportunity, and people who believe in them are possible. Together, we are building supportive spaces and community where teen families thrive.

ECE Center classes spent the beginning of the year raising caterpillars in their classrooms, watching them create chrysalises, and turning into butterflies. Then last week, they released the butterflies into the wild.
