Narratives of Resilience: Stories of Women Veterans Join the Sturm Specialty in Military Psychology for our annual spring event! We'll hear stories of service and reintegration from women Veterans, with remarks by Dr. Jacob Hyde and Dr. Katy Barrs of GSPP. 

Hello, student Veterans! I hope your easing through the end of this school year. I am emailing because I am looking for volunteers who may be interested in being interviewed about your military service. I am teaching an undergraduate course at DU this quarter entitled, "[Re]making the U.S. Military Family" and as part of their coursework, each student is required to conduct one interview with a current service member, Veteran, or military family member. Basically, the purpose of the interview is for the student to practice mindful and engaged communication while interacting with a Veteran, with the overarching purpose being to help break down the military/civilian divide in US culture and to provide the Service member/Vet/Mil family member a place to share their story and their experiences. The interview is not for research purposes, would be informal, and would remain confidential if you choose. You qualify if you are a current Service member, a Veteran (any status), or a military family member.
