Our RMDS student, Noah Kapustka, a Junior, plays for the Ralston Valley High School varsity soccer team. The Kapustka Family and RMDS Community invite everyone to come to one or both of the soccer games we are hosting to watch Noah play. We also celebrate Deaf Awareness Month by supporting this Deaf soccer player!

Deaf Awareness Month is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community, their culture, language, achievements, and contributions to society. It also raises awareness of communication access, inclusion, and the importance of creating environments where Deaf individuals can fully participate.

At every home RVHS Varsity Soccer game this month, an announcement before the National Anthem will explain Deaf Awareness Month to the crowd. The RVHS varsity soccer team will also wear US warm-ups donated by Volkswagen and USMDNT, which Noah also plays for.

Come join us to watch Noah play, support RVHS, and show what the Deaf Community is made of! Go Mustangs and Mountain Lions!

Kinda chic to be a Mountain Lion.

At Rocky Mountain Deaf School, students have opportunities to learn by doing, build meaningful connections, participate in a variety of activities, travel for competitions and experiences, and learn in a school designed with DeafSpace principles.

We’re proud to create a welcoming and supportive community where every student has opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.

That’s what makes being a Mountain Lion kinda chic.
