The award-winning film, Faith in Blackness premiered in 2023 at the Smithsonian to much acclaim, and now the Metro State community has an opportunity to explore topics of AfroLatine identity and spirituality with the executive director, Guesnerth Josue Perea.

Kendall Taylor-Wright gives a riveting Senior Thesis Presentation on “The Cattle and the Crocodile: Animals Motifs at the Great Zimbabwe Complex”. Kendall is graduating from MSU Denver with a B.A. in Art History, Theory & Criticism plus a Minor in Africana Studies. Kendall’s aspirations are to attend graduate school where she plans to earn her doctorate in Art History.
