Summer E-Bike Safety

Slavens has partnered with the Southern Hills Community Association and community member Matt Baline to create an E-Bike Safety Guide for families and community members.

As e-bike use continues to grow among youth, so does the importance of understanding safe riding practices, Colorado laws, and the differences between various types of electric bikes and motorized vehicles.

We encourage families to review the attached guide together and use it as an opportunity for conversation and learning this summer.

Today, there is no school in observance of Memorial Day. As we enjoy the long weekend, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice and courage will never be forgotten.

We look forward to welcoming students back tomorrow for a great last week of school!

Support the Slavens Destination Imagination team “R U Ready” get to Globals! The team qualified for the Global Competition after placing 2nd at State. Help them raise money to get there by grabbing some yummy treats Thursday after school. EVERYTHING $1

Come join in on the fun - Spring Concert, 5th Grade musical, and sports competitions. Don’t forget to send your kids with everything they need for Field Day. 😊
