Little Wing Denver

Little Wing Denver Classes include singing, movement games and rhythms set to popular music from the past 50 years. Little Wingers love to rock out on musical instruments!

School of Rock, the national leader in music education for kids, presents LITTLE WING, an early music education program for children ages 3-5. Little Wing helps young children understand rhythm and melody and introduces them to the language of music. Classes feature movement games set to some of the most popular music from the past fifty years, and experienced music educators and pre-school teachers lead activities that foster creativity. Little Wing is a fun learning experience, employing teamwork and cooperative learning. The games and activities are designed to stimulate and build young minds. The program teaches rhythm and beat patterns, tracking and sequencing sounds and words, tonal processing, auditory focus, and the fine motor skills used in instrument play and visual arts. Little Wing will also prepare students for School of Rock's other music education programs for older students and a lifetime of musicianship. We believe that if we want kids to learn to love music, then we must give them great music to listen to. Little Wing exposes our youngest kids to appropriate classic songs that have inspired adults and kids throughout recent history.

I'm so proud of our Little Wing kids playing like a real band- each on a different instrument!
Please join us EVERY SATURDAY 9:00-10:00 am at the School of Rock-Denver at 216 S Grant St in the basement of the Grant St Community Center (looks like an old church). At the end of the summer season we will be performing on the real rock stage!

Little Wing Denver is getting ready for our School of Rock- Denver SHOW next Sunday 5/31 at 2 pm at Herman's Hideaway! It's the Best of Season so come hear Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, The Who, Heartland Rock and Rush... with Little Wing (3-5 year old rockers) opening the show for the big kids!
