Last Friday our elementary students gathered for Salute to Service, a special chapel where we invite veterans, active military, and first responders to honor and thank them for keeping us and our country safe.

Flatirons Academy Class of 2021

Emily has earned the following awards: 2 Varsity Letters in basketball and 2 Varsity Letters in soccer as well as the Spiritual Impact award for basketball her sophomore year.

Emily plans to pursue her certification to become a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She will then work as a personal trainer to become an independent contractor through sports medicine.

Trevor has earned the Mines Medal of Achievement and scholarship for $1,000 and plans to attend Colorado School of Mines to pursue a degree in Engineering.

Noah has over $46,000 in scholarships for Merit and School Partnerships to Grand Canyon University. Noah plans to attend Grand Canyon University to pursue a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, and participate in several sports related extracurriculars.

Micky has received the following awards: Three Varsity letters in track, was Vice President of Student Council in 12th grade, and was the 3rd Place district finalist for Future Business Leaders of America in 10th grade

Micky plans to pursue a degree in graphic arts and marketing at Front Range Community College and then transfer to a 4-year college, in hopes to gain more experience and eventually teach in that field. She feels that she’ll best be able to use her gifts of leadership, teaching, and hospitality to make an impact for Christ in this field.

Savana has earned the following awards: 4 varsity letters in basketball, 2 time second-team all-conference in basketball, captain of the varsity basketball team for 3 years, and High Honor roll all 4 years of high school.

Savana has received $67,000 in scholarship offers and plans to use her “Crimson Athletic scholarship” in the amount of $27,000 to attend Hastings College in Nebraska, play basketball, and major in Criminology, with a minor in either political science or economics to pursue a career as a lawyer and possibly a judge.

Bryn has received almost $300,000 in scholarship offers and plans to use her Merit and Athletic scholarship from Wheaton College in the amount of $18,700. Bryn plans to play basketball at Wheaton College and pursue a Bachelor’s Degree.
