Free AI is fine for curiosity, experimentation, and getting familiar with the tools.
The moment you use it for business decisions, client work, strategy, operations, HR, finance, sales, marketing, or internal knowledge management, you will realize you need more than casual access.
You need a governance approach.
That means having clear answers to a short list of questions: Who in your organization is using AI? Which tools? What data is going in? Where are the outputs landing? Who reviews the decisions? Which workflows need to be repeatable? Where does human oversight belong?
Most organizations cannot answer those questions. That gap is exactly what I close at PriorityTech.AI
I work with executives, solopreneurs, and small teams to move from scattered AI usage to practical, governed adoption. They need clear systems, stronger workflows, and accountable humans in the loop. No fear tactics. No policy theater. No unnecessary complexity.
Free AI is for curiosity. Governed AI is for capability.

A recent useful development for enterprise leaders watching the local AI stack:
An open-source project shows that Claude Code can be connected to a locally hosted, Anthropic-compatible endpoint on Apple Silicon, allowing supported local models to handle coding workflows on-device instead of relying on a remote inference API.
The practical takeaway is not hype. It is optionality: lower variable API cost, greater control over sensitive data flows, and a clearer path for evaluating when local inference is operationally sufficient for specific developer use cases.
As always, this should be assessed as a workflow and governance question, not a viral breakthrough. Performance depends heavily on hardware, model choice, and implementation details.

3 years ago I prompted ChatGPT for info it was widely reported to get wrong.
It was *really* wrong & I walked from AI feeling echo chamber vindicated & validated. I failed to remain teachable and chose to feed my fear hungry ego instead. That was a mistake.
A friend encouraged me to try again a few weeks later. I offered the same prompt and the answer was correct this time. And it even *owned* why it got it wrong initially. It humbled me.
This was a big deal for me professionally. Witnessing the ability for a massive platform to self-correct was eye-popping, and at a speed that impressed this 20 year IT veteran and it still does today.
My early failure of contempt prior to investigation has pivoted into a lucrative ChatGPT coaching business where I train new & beginning AI users on how to use it safely & ethically from day 1.
It also moved me towards the AI Literacy Advocacy movement as my story is a classic case of what can happen if one asks themselves "what if I'm wrong?" and then take corrective action.
. . and in the middle of it all, I created an endlessly enjoyable GenAI art & music company FeistyJackball Productions as a hobby business spin-off which has certainly increased my quality of life.
I've never contributed more to society and have never been rewarded more, both personally and professionally.
This is what I do at Pcts4you.
I'll show you the way to properly onboard you and your family into our permanently changed, permanently AI Literacy demanding world 🕊️. The stakes are high, as is the demand for global individual user initiative & accountability.
No politician or policy will shield us from the *individual duty* of learning these tools which are available to all because nobody can put this genie back in the bottle. We'd have better luck uninventing fire 🔥

The Pitfalls of Free AI — ChatGPT User Coaching
“Free AI”: What You’re Really Getting Core Principle If we rely solely on free AI, expect diminished results & manage expectations. Advanced Al/LLM systems cost millions to build and maintain. Free models cut costs by limiting performance, features, reliability, or user control. As an A

I taught in front of my 86 year old Mom & a dozen residents at her assisted living today.
A few of them were quite surprised when I made Sir Isaac Newton renounce his deism after I made him read Charles Darwin's "On the Origin of Species", a book published 132 years after Isaac's death.
There's no end to the fun we can have with these tools. Let's explore the possibilities at https://PCTS4you.com

re: ChatGPT, LLM's, and AI as a whole. Be the professional that drops the shovel and adopts the backhoe. I teach you how to do so at PCTS4You.
I believe AI Literacy isn't optional; it's existential

In my experience, "AI consultants" tend to treat adoption like a sale, something to pitch with numbers and ROI slides. My work isn’t about selling AI. It’s about coaching people to actually use it with their own hands.
AI literacy isn’t some corporate initiative. It’s a civic skill. THAT is the fact of my 2.5 years of professional work in this space.
The same way everyone eventually learned to type, use a mouse, or send an email, people now need to know how to think with AI with their customized account specific to them.
Not having their own account coached professionally and plinking around with free versions here and there won't cut it anymore and arguably never did.
That’s why I built PCTS4You as an AI Literacy Advocacy and coaching practice, not a consulting firm. My responsibility isn’t to make companies richer. It’s to make sidelined individuals more capable, confident, & future-proof.
If AI consultants are teaching people how to drive faster cars, I’m showing them how to read the road and riding shotgun at the car dealer. Because if you can’t navigate or have option paralysis, more horsepower and fancy features won't help.
Coaching comes before selling. Literacy comes before leverage. That’s the difference that matters to me and my clients!

AI anxiety built on shaky claims. Ethan Mollick points out how often viral “stats” collapse under scrutiny — like “Reddit is the key source of AI training data” or “95 percent of AI pilots fail.”
This is why I train people to use AI itself as a fact-checking ally. Learning the base layer tool of ChatGPT, combined with my proprietary compensatory fact-checking ecosystem, helps us dodge these easy pitfalls.
Because what we can’t dodge is the human motive to catastrophize. AI won’t code that out of us, nor manufacture the willingness to escape “contempt prior to investigation.” That part is still on us.
This is why I am an AI Literacy Advocate. These tools are permanently smarter than us. We must invite them to the table for everything. This is what I do at PCTS4You.com
