Warren Tech is Jeffco Public Schools’ innovative career and technical education center, offering 36 rigorous, comprehensive programs across three campuses that connect 21st Century academic knowledge to career-focused learning. Warren Tech, the designated career and technical education school for Jeffco Public Schools, is the springboard to a competitive edge in college readiness and career opport

unities. An extension of every high school in Jeffco Public Schools, 36 innovative programs offer dynamic learning opportunities that integrate high school credit, including core academic math, science, and English, to keep students on track for graduation. Over 1,600 juniors and seniors earn free college credit and industry certifications, and experienced faculty work with industry partners to engage students in rigorous college-level work and professional projects, including internships and apprenticeships. Warren Tech consists of three campuses: Warren Tech Central, North, & South. One hallmark of our success is the number of community college credits awarded to our students each year. On average, our students earn over 13,000 Red Rocks Community College credits yearly. All of our programs offer district approved academic credits in 11th or 12th grade math, science, and English. In addition to preparing students for post-secondary education, we also partner with industry, providing a variety of industry and career certifications at state, national, and international levels (over 1,000 on average, yearly). These specialized certifications include National Automotive Technicians Educational Foundation (NATEF), Certified Nursing Assistant, Oracle Academy, and CompTIA, to name just a few. Many of our programs prepare students for career licensure (Cosmetology) and for entry-level professional positions (Dental Assisting, for example). As a result of their coursework and internships, many of our students are employed either during their high school career or post-graduation in their program field or continue on to higher-education with a jump-start on college credits.

Up to 35 feet in the air, Warren Tech students are learning what true trust and leadership look like!

We’re excited to kick off another season on the Outdoor Leadership Ropes Course! To start the school year, Engineering: Design & Build students stepped out of their comfort zones with obstacles that require real communication and problem-solving. From there, teams tackle the high-ropes course.

Because the ropes course is completely student-led (with instructor supervision) our Outdoor Leadership facilitators gain hands-on leadership experience while creating a supportive peer-to-peer environment for every group that participates.

Look what landed at Warren Tech South over the weekend! 🛩️

We are thrilled to share that our Aircraft Maintenance Technology program has expanded its fleet with a newly donated Christen Eagle airplane! Huge thanks to the generous private pilot and the Jeffco Schools Foundation for making this incredible gift possible.

On Saturday, our second-year students jumped right into real-world work-based learning. They took on the challenge of dismantling the wings and prepping the aircraft for transport from Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport to its new home at Warren Tech South. Over the next couple of weeks, students will reassemble the plane and handle minor repairs. Moving forward, students will have direct, hands-on practice!

Over the last week, we welcomed our newest students across Central, North, and South campuses for onboarding. Embracing our "Expedition" theme, students split their time between a team-building passport scavenger hunt and learning the nuts and bolts of Warren Tech, including how to get involved in our CTSOs.

Building a culture of respect, empathy, and belonging starts on day one, and we couldn't be prouder of how our new students showed up for each other.

Three Warren Tech students spent their summer in Arvada Fire's Fleet Division, mastering vehicle diagnostics and emergency maintenance alongside certified EVT mechanics. With cohort one wrapped up, we can't wait to run it again in 2027!

🚨NEW FLEET ALERT 🚨 The Warren Tech Fire Science training grounds just got a serious upgrade. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Arvada Fire Protection District, we have officially accepted the donation of a 2006 Pierce Saber fire engine! This modern apparatus replaces our aging 1998 engine and brings a wealth of new educational opportunities to our students. From apparatus inspections and pump panel familiarization to practicing hydrant operations, our students are getting the ultimate real-world preparation. Thank you, Arvada Fire, for your continued partnership and for giving our future first responders the tools they need to succeed! 🤝🔥

🚀🌮 One Giant Leap for Warren Tech Culinary Arts!

The pressure was high, the standards were out of this world, and the tacos? They’re officially headed to space!

Our Warren Tech Culinary Arts students earned FIRST PLACE at the prestigious NASA HUNCH Culinary Challenge with their winning dish: Spicy Carne Asada Street Corn Tacos. Even more incredible — their recipe will now move forward in the process for potential spaceflight!
