The highly anticipated Beast 2 Midget kit is now in stock and available from Custom Works. After picking up wins with the prototype at the Motorama Northeast Nationals and the Trackside Duals we finalized and fine tuned the car over the summer to bring you the best possible kit for your money. Several new features make this version 2 kit a much more tunable chassis over the original including all the parts and adjustments needed to compete on both high bite or loose dirt surfaces.

We have several new Inclined spindle parts available now for the cars using hex axles like the Bullet, Rocket, Outlaw and Beast Midget.
From our testing, the inclined spindles tend to numb the initial steering input, but hold the corner better from middle to exit. We've used these as a great tuning option on high bite racing, but they definitely have their place on looser dirt conditions as well.
When trying them out, we recommend using the same spindle style (inline/trailing) you currently use, that way you are only adding the inclined variable. This will give you true feeling of the setup change.
Depending on your current front camber link positions, shorter turnbuckles may be required for installation if you don't have any threads left showing with your current setup.

The Outlaws of the Midwest at BB Mods Raceway in Gibson City , Illinois was on September 5th & 6th. An outdoor track with a super cool cover over it. Congratulations to CJ Bosecker for his 2nd place in Modified Latemodel and 3rd in Modified Sprint. Also a shout out to Rob Mulvaney in qualifying 3rd in Modified Sprint. There also was dirt oval seminars given by manufacturers throughout the day on Friday. Rob "Wolfman" Mulvaney did a seminar on building shocks. Thanks Rob.

The Whitz Racing Tri- State Challenge Series for 2026 concluded this last weekend. The first was at Cedar Bluff RC Speedway on June 20th, then Leighton Speedway on July 25th and then Raw RC Speedway on August 22nd. Billy Fischer took the long drives from North Carolina to the Midwest to race all three of the Series races. Congratulations to Billy on Finishing 3rd in the points in both Outlaw Sprint and Outlaw Latemodel. Looking forward to next years series.

The West Coast Dirt Oval Nationals at Rainmans Hobby and Raceways in Bakersfield, California concluded on Sunday August 23rd. Over 370 entries with classes on rubber tires and some classes on foam tires. Here are some Custom Works cars that raced during the weekend. Congratulations to Jack Johnson for winning 17.5 Sprint Car and Tony Gammel for winning Midget , with Nic Case taking 3rd.

Team Custom Works is at the Whitz Tri State Series at RAW RC Speedway in Elwood, Indiana. This is the final leg of the series. Good luck to all in attendance.

Team Custom Works is at the West Coast Dirt Oval Nationals in Bakersfield, CA at Rainman Hobbies. This track runs both Foam and Rubber tires. High Bite Oval. Good luck to all in attendance.

This last Saturday July 18th was the Snakes and Sparklers 76 at the Dubuque RC Speedway in Dubuque, Iowa. An outdoor high bite oval with this event having 76 lap main events.
Congratulations to Custom Works driver William Gibson on his TQ and Wins in 10.5 Latemodel and 360 Sprint.

This last weekend was the Northeast Summer Championships at Staub Brothers RC Speedway in Bonneauville, Pennsylvania (36 years as a Dirt Oval track). Track is super maintained and lots of traction for everyone. Looking forward to next year.
