A group of 11 female African public sector leaders are arriving in Denver tomorrow as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program. While here, they will be meeting with representatives from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to discuss the roles of women in government and how best to increase female participation in the public sector. Rocky Mountain IIE is excited to welcome these inspiring women!

Rocky Mountain IIE is currently hosting a group of visitors from Ukraine who are in Denver as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program. The visitors, who are government officials, are here to learn about ways to encourage and develop the spirit of volunteerism in their country. We are proud that Denver has been chosen as exemplary model of volunteerism and hope that the visitors enjoy their time here!

Since it is International Education Week, IIE has released its annual Open Doors Report, a global census about students studying abroad. The number of students studying in the U.S. has increased by about 4-5%... in Colorado, we're up 10%! U.S. Students studying abroad is also up.
