At KNE, we value and honor the identities of our black students, family, and staff. ❤️💛💚

We are so excited to intentionally study and celebrate the Black community this month. Please check out the information for dress out days. We will also have lesson plans, performances, and special ways to highlight our Black students, families and community members.

We know that may students want to participate but we ask that any outfit or dress out participation is not appropriating (non-black person imitating a black person, characteristic, hairstyle or trait that does not belong to that person’s own culture) but instead demonstrating appreciation and celebration (graphic t-shirts, sports jerseys, sneakers, college shirts and colors).
