As a friendly reminder, Denver Public Schools Foundation office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Summer learning helps students stay connected while school is out. ☀️

Thanks to donor support, DPS Foundation funded an additional week of Discovery Link at Barnum Elementary School, providing summer enrichment care for up to 150 students per day from several Denver Public Schools sites.

This support helps families know their children are safe and gives students more opportunities to learn, play, and stay connected during the summer months.

Students at Trevista at Horace Mann got a visit they won’t forget. ⚽💚

Denver Summit FC goalkeeper Abby Smith stopped by to answer questions, share encouragement, and remind students that teamwork, confidence, and perseverance matter on the field and in the classroom. Students also went home with soccer balls and signed memorabilia to help keep them playing and practicing all summer long!

These are the kinds of moments DPS Foundation loves to help make possible, connecting schools with partners and opportunities that bring new experiences to students.

More than 200 students at Kaiser Elementary are stepping into summer with brand-new tennis shoes, thanks to UnitedHealthcare of Colorado! 💛

DPS Foundation is grateful to partner with UnitedHealthcare of Colorado and the Denver Broncos to help bring fun opportunities like this to our schools. A special visit from Denver Broncos players Marvin Mims, Jr. and Pat Bryant encouraged students to stay active and healthy during the summer months.

Moments like these support healthy habits and remind students that staying active can be fun!
