Denver Public Schools Foundation We believe our city is strengthened by every student who graduates ready to lead a successful life. Why support Denver Public Schools?

The DPS Foundation is Denver Public Schools' fundraising partner. We generate resources, build relationships and champion public education to impact system-wide achievement and help every child succeed. We raise money: In 2012-13, we raised $14.9 million for Denver Public Schools. We champion public education, serving as ambassadors and advocates for Denver Public Schools. We build partnerships between the community and our schools, driving talent, resources and volunteers into our classrooms. DPS is the fastest growing urban school district in America and the largest school district in the state, growing enrollment by more than 20% in the last six years. The community trusts our school system and is choosing DPS as a destination for educating its children. State funding for DPS has dropped more than $800 per pupil- or $60 million per year - since 2008. The Denver Public Schools Foundation helps fill that gap, allowing DPS to sustain and expand proven programs that might otherwise disappear from schools. By supporting the DPS Foundation, the entire community is contributing to DPS's progress.
