Denver Robotics Teams Balance Competition and Collaboration | Front Porch Three local high school robotics teams are heading to the Denver Regionals competition this month with two goals: first, beat the competition; second, collaborate with the competition.
Running Buttercup through lots of testing, come see us compete at the Denver Regional in two weeks!
Buttercup v2.0 is getting ready for the next competition two weeks away! Redesigned shooter, intake, hopper and enhanced software. Here’s Buttercup performing a two-pass autonomous routine.
Fixing stability/reliability issues with Buttercup. New shooter/feeder installed and calibrated with almost 2x improvement in throughput! New intake and hopper being built, which will be installed this week. Buttercup v2.0 will be awesome!

A great weekend at the inaugural Pikes Peak Regional. We didn’t win, but Buttercup and the team did great!
Highlights:
- 5th highest scoring team
- Won the Autonomous Award sponsored by Google.org
- Lots of learning and insight!
We’re back in the workshop now, making design changes and improvements — come back in a few weeks to see what Buttercup v2.0 will do!
