There’s classroom time and kitchen time for apprentice chefs at Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado. Brains on / Hands on!

RMCC alumni work in many of the top restaurants in town. And some, like Chef Geiger, returned to coach today’s apprentice chefs!

What’s a “Sponsoring House?” It’s a way for RMCC apprentice chefs to earn while they learn! It’s a local restaurant, resort or kitchen helping train tomorrow’s top chefs!

The Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado Apprenticeship Program provides students with on-the-job-training combined with technical classroom instruction

RMCC hats and t-shirts will be available for sale at the Endowment Dinner this year! Tickets are on sale now! Follow the link in our bio for Endowment updates.

At the Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado, much of our “classroom” time is hands-on experience in the kitchen!

From all of us at Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado, we’d like to wish our culinary community a very Happy New Year! We are so excited about the wonderful things ahead in 2023 for our program!

It’s official! The 2023 Annual Endowment dinner is around the corner. We hope you will join us! Link to ticket purchase in our bio.

From all of us at Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado, have a wonderful Christmas holiday!

Our program goes beyond food. It's also about time management, discipline, and sometimes, ice! Pictured here is world famous Chef Pizzuto. Chef is not only known for his culinary prowess but also his ability to carve ice sculptures. He's teaching our Apprentices how they can carve ice and incorporate ice as a medium in their dishes.

Our Apprentices learn from the best AND get hands-on experience in the classroom. That's in addition to the real-life training they get while working at various Sponsor Houses. Our Apprentices, Alumni, and Instructors agree it's by far the best way to learn how to cook!

Thank you Chef for joining us in class! Your experience and personal journey through food is filled with passionate determination. As apprentices learn and grow, the more they are exposed to the better!

Each year, we celebrate our graduates at an Endowment Dinner. Check out this picture, featuring our instructors Chef Geiger and Chef Sever. It was in 2016 that Chef Geiger earned her title as Chef! She now works with our 3rd-year students as our Pastry Instructor.

You're watching mentoring in action. Executive Chef Jessica Rosales is working with her Apprentice, Dee, who works under her tutelage at Longmont Colorado's Balfour Senior Living. Our program has a deep-rooted community with our Apprentices working and learning in kitchens all over the Denver metro.

We are excited to see you at our 2023 Annual Endowment Dinner! Be on the lookout for tickets and additional information.

Judging by his reaction, the bisque presented to Chef Instructor Sever passed with flying colors!

If you walked into your kitchen and saw this tray, what kind of dish would you whip up? There's an avocado, apple, cauliflower, cucumber and a jar of pimentos. Be creative!

One of the benefits of learning with Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado is there's never a lack of ingredients that you'd find in any professional kitchen.

It's giving Tuesday! Did you know that we are a 501C3 organization? Your donations help support the future of Culinary Arts, worldwide!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado!

Our Apprentices who become Chefs' involvement in the Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado doesn't end on graduation day and it certainly doesn't end for our instructors when they move on, either! Pictured here is current instructor Chef Geiger alongside former Chef Instructors Schaaf & Bochman, the founders of RMCC.

Pictured here are two of our Apprentices practicing their knife skills. How sharp are your eyes? Do you recognize the style of cuts on the cutting board in the foreground of this picture?

POV: You see this tray full of ingredients in front of you, what do you think it's for? Our Apprentices get hands-on training in the classroom using fresh ingredients that are no different than you would find in any professional kitchen's walk-in cooler.
