Look for the leaf! We've noticed an uptick in third-party ticket sellers and we want to make sure that you don't fall into their trap! The ONLY authorized seller of LTAC performance tickets is lonetreeartscenter.org and we're not always the first result if you just use Google search! With single tickets going on sale on June 3 for our upcoming season, make sure that your tickets are legitimate by only purchasing through our website or with our Box Office, over the phone or in person.

The Senior Life Expo is less than 3 weeks away. We'd like to highlight some of those who make this event possible. We would love to also highlight some amazing presentations and demonstrations this year. All of these resources and education is FREE! Please plan on attending some of these breakout sessions to make the most of the experience. Call Stacy if you have any questions, 720.722.2291.

Why give? Denver Health Foundation helps so many little ones through their Newborns in Need program. Financially struggling families often must choose between diapers or groceries, so these gifts help give them a great start and make life sweeter for some of Denver’s tiniest and most vulnerable citizens. CRSAC is proud to support this great effort.
How to Participate? We encourage donations from anyone, not just Senior Center members. You can drop unwrapped and new items in the baby box at the Senior Center or bring them to our Baby Shower at 1:00 PM on Wed., May 15 where Denver Health Foundation staff will be on hand to receive our donations. Of course, it’s a Baby Shower, so there will be cake and a party!
What do we need? “Baby” fleece or flannel fabric 1-1/2 yards, warm blankets (max size 24” x 36”), receiving blankets, baby hats, sock mittens, boy & girl onesies and sleepers (3-month size), hooded towels.
There is a collection box and more information by the front desk. Note that items must be NEW (no pacifiers, bottles, formula). The phone number to our front desk is 303-688-9498.

Yes! Art soothes the soul ❤️
Go into the arts. I'm not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something. ~Kurt Vonnegut

Why the Rise in Performance Opportunities for Adult Recreational Dancers Matters - Dance Teacher A growing number of other teachers and organizations are offering adult recreational dancers a chance not only to take class but also to get onstage—whether they danced as kids and want to continue after high school or college without pursuing dance professionally, or came to dance as beginners ...

Love Lauren Lovett! ❤️🩰❤️

Have you listened to her podcast?
When Julia Louis-Dreyfus hit her 60s, she was struck by a realization: She wanted to hear from the old ladies. So the actress and comedian launched her podcast, “Wiser Than Me,” which features guests such as Julie Andrews (88), Patti Smith (77) and Ina Garten (76). https://nyti.ms/3TXcXgf

Why the Rise in Performance Opportunities For Adult Recreational Dancers Matters Adult recreational performance opportunities are also transformative for those who never thought there was room for them in dance to begin with. “My idea of who could and couldn’t do ballet was very warped as a kid,” says Janay Lee, 25, an au pair who’s participated in the artÉmotion intens...

How did you do?
Take the 30-Second Power Test You need more than strength to age well — you also need power. Here’s how to measure how much you have.

We agree!!! 💯!! 🩰❤️
There’s this idea that only people who started ballet when they were little can be good at it. But that’s not true! Ballet is for everyone, no matter when you start. Sure, some dancers begin early, but it’s not a rule. Ballet is about grace, strength, and expressing yourself, and anyone can learn those things with practice.
Just because you didn’t start ballet as a kid doesn’t mean you can’t learn now. Some amazing dancers didn’t start until they were grown-ups. It’s all about finding your rhythm, practicing, and loving what you do.
So, if you’ve ever wanted to try ballet but worried it’s too late, don’t! It’s never too late.
Ballet is open to anyone, young or old. You just have to take that first step and see where it takes you.
Who knows? You might discover a whole new passion waiting for you at the barre.

A legend indeed!! ❤️
