This was part of the partnership with . Northern Michigan Alliance for Children (NMAC) is an organization that provides healing, hope, and justice to abused children in rural Michigan. It was their dream that the book could be replicated to help children across the world. Thanks to their dedication to this dream, we have 23 Child Advocacy Centers receiving custom adapted editions of My Voice Matters across Michigan, an eBook version, 250 printed copies of their custom book, as well as 250 copies of our second book: The Trusted Trio, a therapy support book.

Books By Rylee has been working with Child Advocacy Centers across Michigan to create custom books about the investigation process of child abuse and to ensure survivors know they are not alone! ​

My Voice Matters: A Safe Place to Tell My Truth is designed to be received by children prior to their interview. This book informs children and their families about what to expect when they arrive at a child advocacy center.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Let's raise awareness for children and adults who are abuse survivors.

Eriana DeKalita-Mull and Mandy are the contributors to 2 of 3 of these activities. But they also ensured that there was a multidisciplinary approach to the therapeutic practices throughout the entire book!

We’re so excited for this book! I couldn’t have asked for a better team of professionals who care about this topic!

It’s definitely more than just a book. This work encompasses what we want to teach children and adults about coping with trauma. It’s in the text, and carefully depicted in the illustrations. Also, for those of us with childhood trauma, it’s what we wish we would have had available to us and our adults as children.
