When you build something in the arts, it’s never just a business.

For Mandy Yip, Acrobatic Arts is a curriculum, a company, and home to many of the people she cares about most. So when she went looking for a partner, her bar was simple: they had to care about it as much as she does.

On No Starving Artists with Jason Pickett, Mandy and Jeff Homer talk about what that search looked like, how the partnership came together, and much more.

We love having Mandy, Acrobatic Arts, and all the wonderful students and people she brought along with her as part of our Ensemble community. ❤️

Miranda, our GM at Production Company Dance Centre, was interviewed in this wonderful piece highlighting boys in dance. If you're passionate about dance and representation, this is a wonderful article for you!

There are a lot of prevailing stereotypes when it comes to boys in the dance space. Often, there’s an idea that if there is a boy in dance, they automatically have to take the partnering role, the masculine role, the one who has to lift, be interested in hip hop, or be the star. “A […]

Recital season is behind you. Before you start planning next season, ask yourself this: do you know what it actually costs to run one class?

We're hosting a free workshop this Thursday, July 9, to help dance studio owners find that number, plus their break-even point for group classes. Led by Teri Mangiaratti and Shannon Wilson, two people who've done this math in real studios, not just on paper.

60 minutes. Free. Can't make it live? Register anyway and we'll send you the replay.

Our team walked over 5 million steps together this spring and turned a little friendly competition into something that will impact young artists for years to come! 🩰 🚶

Through our "Miles Between Meetings" wellness challenge, the Ensemble community came together and voted to donate to ABT RISE, American Ballet Theatre s initiative expanding access and opportunity in classical ballet for underrepresented young dancers.

We're so very fortunate to have a team of passionate artists and arts lovers, working hard to lift up our communities and industry... one step a time!

These moments remind us how fortunate we are to be a part of this team ❤️

Our community is genuinely special. We get to work alongside kind, high-character people who care—about their students, their craft, each other, and making a real difference in their communities. That’s just who they are!

Our GM Summit in Illinois brought us together IRL and it was 🌟incredible🌟 to see the energy, the collaboration, and the commitment to bringing great experiences back to their communities.

The hard part now is leveling these summits up for next time! And for that, we can’t wait! 🔥
