Due to the forecasted severe weather conditions and DPS calling a snow day, SOAR Elementary School will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6th.

🚫 All after-school programs and activities are also canceled.

The safety of our students, families, and staff is our top priority. Please stay safe and warm!

📢 No School Next Friday!

There will be no school on Friday, May 1st, 2026 due to a Professional Development Day for staff.

🚫 The school office will also be closed, so there will be no access to the building and voicemail messages may not be returned right away.

Registration opens May 4th at 8:00 AM for current and newly accepted SOAR students!

⚠️ All students must complete registration to secure their spot.

🗓 Deadline to complete registration:
Friday, May 18th at 4:00 PM

💻 Registration is completed online through the Parent Portal.

🌸 SOAR Spring Break 🌸

SOAR will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, March 30th through Friday, April 3rd.

During this time:

The school office will also be closed
There will be no access to the building

After School Enrichment – Block 3

Registration opens next Friday!

Block 3 will run from the week of April 6 through the week of May 11, giving students 6 weeks of fun enrichment opportunities.

Registration Information

• Opens: Friday, March 13 at 8:00 AM
• Closes: Friday, March 20 at 2:00 PM

Block 3 Class Options

• Monday: Mad Science with Science Odyssey
(10 students – 4th & 5th Grade)

• Wednesday: Soccer Stars with Overtime Athletics
(20 students – 2nd & 4th Grade)

• Thursday: Bucket Drumming with Creative Kids
(10 students – 1st & 2nd Grade)

Spots are limited and fill quickly, so be ready to register when enrollment opens!
