Clases de Trompeta con Matthew Martinez

Matt is currently the director of Mariachi Los Mensajeros de Denver. He started playing professionally at the age of 15 and has over 20 years of performance experience. He has performed in shows throughout the United States and internationally-including shows in China, Italy, and France.

Matt teaches trumpet and vihuela students of all levels and any age - specializing in the techniques of the Mariachi genre.

He is passionate about passing his knowledge on to the next generation of Latin musicians. Along with teaching privately at Encanto, he is the lead teacher for the Colorado Mariachi Youth Program’s advanced Performance Group.

Hi Everyone!

Let me introduce myself and tell you about why I’m starting EnCanto Studio.

My name is RaeLynn Martinez.

As a working musician in the Denver music scene, I realized there aren’t many places for our Latinx aspiring artists to hone in on their technique and skills. I have spent the last 10 years teaching private lessons and managing amazing studios that have a lot to offer, but not to our community. I decided it’s time we are provided with the same high level learning opportunities as more main stream aspiring artists. Thus, EnCanto was born!

This is a place for all latinos and those who love the latino culture, including non-Spanish speaking, Spanish-only speaking, and multilingual students.
